T8500 Contact IC Issuing System

Supports encoding of contact IC cards and secure element devices

  • This device issues various types of high-security contact IC cards, such as JAVA, EMV, and MULTOS, in accordance with ISO/IEC 7816.
    Furthermore, it can also issue contactless IC cards by installing an optional R/W for contactless IC cards.

  • In addition to the conventional batch DL method, the 1Step method is also possible.
    In addition to the conventional batch DL method, contact cards can also be issued using the 1Step method.
    The communication protocol is TCP/IP.
    Furthermore, since the basic configuration of the issuance system has been retained, the current issuance script used by the T8000 (IC CARD TESTER III) can continue to be used as is.
  • Various options
    We offer a wide range of options.
1.Memory upgrade
Internal memory can be expanded to 512MB or 1GB.
Standard internal memory is 74MB (10MB + 64MB).
2.contactless issuance
By connecting a contactless IC card R/W, you can also issue contactless IC cards.
3.electrical characteristic test
By adding the optional PMU, DC characteristic testing and AtoR testing of contact IC cards is possible.
・Disconnection check (pin contest) Connection characteristics (open/short) between each terminal and the GND terminal
・Disconnection check (pin contest) Connection characteristics (open/short) between each terminal and the VCC terminal
・Input leak test (VF=5.5V) Functional test of the circuit between each terminal and the GND terminal
 ・Input leakage test (VF=0.5V): Functional inspection of the circuit between each terminal and the VCC terminal.
・Current consumption test: Measurement of the current flowing between the GND terminal and the VCC terminal.
・AtoR test: Comparison of the ATR code stored in the IC card with the set AtoR expected value.
*The inspection items are equivalent to those of the existing T8000 (IC CARD TESTER III).

  • I2C and SPI compatible
    Secure element devices that communicate via I2C and SPI are also supported.

Approach to production equipment

  • With the T8500 series, you can add contact issuance boards according to your production equipment and select the number of channels.
    The PC and contact issuance boards are connected via a hub using a LAN, and power is supplied from the SW power supply.
    *Replacement of existing equipment is also possible.
